Okay, first things first: I was really excited about reading this story because you incorporated so many things I mentioned liking. It can't have been easy and you did such a wonderful job, I'm so happy :) It really made me feel as though this was a special gift for me, thank you!

This is quite a complicated story with complicated feelings, and I love that. My heart broke quite a bit for Aiba early on, poor thing. All of his insecurities and uncertainties ahhh I really felt for him ;; and I wanted so much for him to be happy (I always want Aiba to be happy) but his hesitation was understandable. I'm glad you took the time to explore how his past with Nino affected him.

At the same time, I like how the resolution to the potential love triangle situation felt rather simple and natural. It was a nice contrast. I'm actually pretty fond of love triangles for the angst potential & complicated feelings they provide, and all of that was present here without being overblown or dragged out. Plus you gave me the ideal solution I almost always want for any good triangle i.e. a happy OT3 endgame! It works because the way you depicted them here feels accurate to how Kaze Trio is in real life; they just fit together so nicely, no need for jealousy or prolonged awkwardness when they can be happy together ♥

In terms of characters, I liked how Nino switched between acting vague and oblivious to being straightforward, how he came across a bit frustratingly difficult but still always endearing in his Nino-like way. I liked the way he slipped back into being Aiba's friend, with the little reminders of their shared past. (Nino resting his head on Aiba's shoulder was so adorable and great.) I liked how Jun was always there near Aiba, waiting for him and wanting him to be happy, but also making his own moves with Nino instead of remaining passive. And I loved Aiba most of all, adorable sweetheart he is.

Oh! I can't forget: the little bits of Yama were great too! Thanks for including them :)

I also liked how a certain degree of ambiguity remained throughout. That's something I always enjoy in fic; I'm often an impatient reader, but I took mini breaks during this just to mull over the possibilities of what happened in the past and how things might progress between the trio. Even after I finished, I was left thinking about this fic for a while, and that was nice.

All in all, this was a wonderful fic with a lovely atmosphere and such a perfect, sweet ending. Thank you, anon! I truly enjoyed it. ♥
