My dear author-san, please, let me hug you <3 I love this story SO SO MUCH, it's amazing! I love the idea, I love how it's written, I love the characters, the pacing, I love everything about it!
First I was a bit confused by the start (similar to Aiba so you did a great job here putting me right into his shoes haha) and I though oh... one-night stand? Well, let's see how this goes... but then I was actually pleasantly surprised to find out they did NOT have a one-night stand and that they will "save such things for later", so to say ^^ Because I like if people take their time and don't end up in bed, having sex right away XD Their morning date and chat over coffee, two sleepy drunkards but oh so smitten by each other, felt so cozy... I love it! <3
You really picked up my prompt of Aiba working with kids and Jun getting in contact with him due to that but you spiced it up with that very interesting, fateful and smart twist of them having met already before that... That was truly brilliant! It was so damned amusing to read how they literally talked past each other for such a long time and I love the fact that they basically met two times under different circumstances (FATE!). I appreciate that their relationships then were so different but in the end they worked out just so well because they just fit so well together!!! ToT This is so touching, seriously... it really melted my heart!
The Cinderella and Prince Charming reference totally hit the right spot with me xD I'm a big fan of Disney and I found that just so sweet how they called each other... really approve of that! <3
Also, their sext- I mean uhm TEXTING of course, was very delightful! I really love such stuff mixed into stories so thank you very much for including all those text messages and e-mails and please let me give you some bonus points for making Nino help Aiba with replying to Matsumoto XD That was a really fun scene in the restaurant, I really enjoyed it!
Talking about Nino, he was just fantastic in this fic! Witty and funny and still secretly caring a lot about his friends, that's just the way I love seeing him being portrayed in fics! Also, LOTS OF BONUS POINTS FOR ADDITIONAL SAKUMIYA, OF COURSE!!! <3 <3 <3 OMG I didn't dare hoping to see my OTP as a side pairing appear in this fic until you mentioned "two housemates" and I was all like OMG can they please be... OMG YES the first one is Sho, so the second one oh please YES IT'S NINO! *.* I sincerely love how you integrated them as a couple and how you described their dynamics! And awwwww Nino is basically a youtuber, isn't he?! How come you know about my youtube obsession?! Or was this a reference to Nino's mentioning of probably being a youtuber if he wasn't in Arashi as he did on Baystorm recently? Either way, I love it and very much approve of this and I love Sho even more for supporting his boyfriend in this. ^.^
Oh and let me mention how awesome it is that Aiba, Sho and Nino live together! That's just so cool, I really like the idea of them being housemates (Arashi sharehouse is always a very pleasant image, isn't it? ^^) It's great Nino and Aiba didn't get separated after Nino moved in with his boyfriend (and that Aiba isn't in danger of walking in on Sakumiya's "games" any longer XD pft. I laughed so hard at this, really!)
Aiba's outburst at the destroyed childcare (which really broke my heart too because I can so feel his argumentation and I'm a very sentimental person when it comes to things that represent memories and stuff like that (yes, I'm secretly that cheesy lol)) was just awesome! It was so touching T_T... I really like how he "lectured" Jun with that, kind of, but Jun didn't take it in a bad way and actually understood Aiba and then even offered his help. Them working together was the PERFECT solution! Oh and I had the same idea as nicefinalbeam, the host of that children's music show Jun will work on, is it Ohno? ^^
Also, after reading some other comments here, I have to defend your decision on ending the story at the part you ended it. I personally don't mind at all that you didn't go the full way to NC-17, to the contrary, I enjoy the fact that with this kind of ending there is more left for my imagination :3 (although I wouldn't have minded to read it either xD). Anyway, for me the ending is just perfect <3
I really cannot put into words how much I enjoyed this read, anon, you really made my day with this! I surely forgot to point out a lots of things that I enjoyed a lot in this story (oh oh, yes, like for example Aiba and his jeans haha As to be expected from Mr. Best Jeanist, right? XD or how Nino dressed up properly when his potential father-in-law showed up) but believe me, I enjoyed each and every minute of reading!
