I'm so happy that you found the story peaceful to read. That was exactly what I wanted to convey. I'm glad you liked my characterisation of Aiba too;a little flawed, but earnestly trying to be a good person, while still being human.
I love that you noticed that 'stuff' was going on with Sakumiya too, and you could see things weren't perfect with them. But because the story is told from the lense of Aiba's experiences and filtered through what he is privy to, I could only show it in off-hand mentions that you can only see my reading between the lines.
I did that on purpose because I really do have a story to tell for those two, but whether I get to writing it promptly or not is a whole 'nother matter 😉
