OMG, you made me laugh and cry and squeal and beam with joy, as I went through this story. At first, I thought Panelope was an animation - how ignorance of me, lol. I guess because you mentioned this story was inspired from it and I felt a strong fantasy element in this story. Anyhow, I LOVE the fantasy in this. The concept was so intriguing and so cool <3 Oh my, Poor Aiba T_T What a complicated life he must have led! I mean, to grow up around people (esp. his mom) thinking that you weren't "normal" and kept saying that to you REPEATEDLY (Boo!!!). How could anyone ever build self-confidence and self-acceptance with that, seriously? I really couldn't blame Aiba for struggling to accept who he was, and I was so happy when he finally did. It's pretty cool that the curse based on how Aiba viewed himself rather than how his true love viewed him. And I really enjoyed the journey of Aiba's self discovery. What a heartwarming and fulfilling story this is, Anon <3<3
I loved the way you portrayed the characters here. I particularly liked the relationships of Aiba/Nino and Aiba/Jun. Nino was such an awesome friend and he's so great for Aiba's morale. He seemed nonjudgmental and understanding. And Aiba/Nino interactions were cute and funny. Jun was a great cousin - I kept hoping that you wouldn't put Jun in a romantic relationship with Aiba, and you didn't (hooray!) I really liked Jun and Aiba brotherly love and how Jun seemed to look out and protective of Aiba somehow. So sweet *million kisses*
I had a mixed feeling about Sho, though. He did tried to play trick on Aiba at the beginning and that's not nice, Sho-chan * shaking my head disapprovingly * Anyhow, Sho got it hard too. Aiba was quite stubborn and difficult to be reasoned with. It's amazing that Sho had been as insistent as he did. I've got to give him that :D In the end when Aiba decided to pursue Sho, I was beaming and dissolving into a puddle of fangirl goo. It was so cute and sweet! I loved it!
By the way, I personally think Aiba as a monkey-like man would be SUPER cute. I had this really adorable image of Aiba in monkey face plus hairs and everything throughout my reading through this. And it's very very very lovely image LoL I bet he still could be attractive even with such appearance :D
Thank you so much, Anon-san, for writing me this adoringly wonderful piece. I had such a great time reading this. Your hard-work and efforts that you put into writing this story are sincerely appreciated <3 Thank you!!!
