It’s about that time, Aiba’s Little Helpers.

Hello and welcome to the THIRD (whaaat?!) year of the annual Aiba Exchange!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. ‘Tis the season to be happy, you guys, and who better to bring that joy to us than Santa Aiba.

Calling all of Aiba’s little helpers! If writing/loving on Aiba Masaki is your thing, then please join us in celebrating Arashi’s Miracle Boy!

Basic rules:
1. All fic should be Aiba-centric in nature! We welcome drama, movie, canon, AU or some strange mix of all of these things.
2. Fics should be a minimum of 1500 words.
3. Fics should be written in English.
4. Fics should be beta read before being submitted. If you can’t find one, your (self-proclaimed) awesome mods will hook you up.
5. Fics should be submitted with all appropriate html tags included.
6. Writers/readers/participants should be courteous at ALL times.
7. Writers/participants should remain anonymous until reveals are posted. Any questions or concerns for your author/recipient should be emailed to us so that we can contact your author/recipient.
8. Everyone should have fun! (excessive use of exclamation marks is totally optional, but highly encouraged.)

Pairings/friendships I want, no, NEED:
- I love all Aiba/Arashi pairings! For romantic pairings, my preferences are in the following order: Aiba/Jun, Aiba/Ohno, Aiba/Nino (my favorite for them is friendship/bffs, but romantic is okay too!), Aiba/Sho.
- I'm a huge fan of Everyone(in Arashi!)-Loves-Aiba and this could be either romantic or platonic or some of both!
- All this being said, I am totally fine with gen fic about friendship, like meeting and becoming friends or established friends having adventures together (esp. Arashi friendship!!! ESP. AIMIYA BFFS OMG PLEASE) so please feel free to go that way as well! :D

Okay so I basically just want Aiba to be happy and to be having fun!!! I LOVE SHENANIGANS, EITHER SPEFICIALLY OR IN GENERAL, IN WHATEVER WAY YOU WANT TO INTERPRET THAT. I love AUs, but I also love how much Aiba loves Arashi so I'll be perfectly content if it’s canon.

Here are some truly random suggestions:

- ***As noted above, this year I would LOVE something based off Aiba’s mini dance performance with Perfume – Aiba is a member of Perfume, part of their crew or just their biggest fan? Doesn’t have to be romantic Aiba/Perfume and if the rest of Arashi are still involved that would be AWESOME
- Aiba in a FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM AU. JUST SAYING.
- Or, the same prompt in a non-magical world: Aiba goes on Safari to learn more about animals and adventures begin??
- Teenage Aiba with gangly appendages and silly hair, who is totally hyper but also painfully shy!! MAIN or other made-up Junior combi groups (like what if Nino and Aiba had their own combi after “Do you wanna feel like dancing?” and debuted?)
- A NO ARASHI or anything where Aiba does experiments/forces experiments on others possibly for no reason, esp. if Jun is his (secretly enthusiastic) assistant!!!
- Disco-sama and his biggest fan Ohno Satoshi!! (does Ohno draw Disco Star doujinshi and Aiba really likes it and they meet??)
- "I Love You Man" AU with Aiba and Nino and their fine bromance
- Aiba gets CATFISHED
- I will enthusiastically support historical fiction of any and all location or time period if that is your thing and related…
- I ask for this every year and I know it’s a tall order BUT IF AIBA WAS IN A BILL AND TED'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE STYLE AU IT WOULD ROCK MY WORLD
- Aiba/puppies, Aiba/kittens, Aiba/Chinese food, Aiba/his monkey
- Aiba has to park his own car (this is an AU OBVIOUSLY)

Genres, situations, kinks, plots I would NOT LIKE to receive: Please no angst or unhappiness (misunderstandings and pinning are okay, but not like deep, all consuming unhappiness), violence or abuse, graphic sex, incest, power play/unequal power or age dynamics, dystopian themes, serious illness, character death. I'm not a huge supernatural (ghost/vampires/werewolves) or sci-fi/futuristic world type person EXCEPT for the above mentioned time travel. Please no psychological thrillers, drama-related or otherwise!

Pairings, genres, plots I would like to write: I will pretty much try anything, but I'd definitely prefer to write something light/comedic/silly in genre. I'm fine with writing gen/friendship fic!

For pairings: Gimme all dem sweet, sweet Aiba/Ohno prompts! (LOL). But also, I will try my best at any Aiba/Arashi pairing (INCLUDING Aiba/Arashi OT5!) I don't know most of the non-Arashi Johnnys well enough to write them as major characters but I can try to squeeze them in (I could throw in Toma, probably? K8? Nagase?!) I will also write ladies as needed!

Pairings, genres, plots I WILL NOT write: Basically anything I do not want to receive. I would rather not write anything dark or angsty if possible, nor would I like to write smut, anything kink heavy or PWP. I would rather not write drama characters (because I love writing Aiba as himself), but I am happy to steal drama plotlines!

Rating preference (both written and received): Received: Keep it PG-13ish?? I really don’t require any high-rated content! Written: Probably about the same!
