It’s about that time, Aiba’s Little Helpers.

Hello and welcome to the THIRD (whaaat?!) year of the annual Aiba Exchange!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. ‘Tis the season to be happy, you guys, and who better to bring that joy to us than Santa Aiba.

Calling all of Aiba’s little helpers! If writing/loving on Aiba Masaki is your thing, then please join us in celebrating Arashi’s Miracle Boy!

Basic rules:
1. All fic should be Aiba-centric in nature! We welcome drama, movie, canon, AU or some strange mix of all of these things.
2. Fics should be a minimum of 1500 words.
3. Fics should be written in English.
4. Fics should be beta read before being submitted. If you can’t find one, your (self-proclaimed) awesome mods will hook you up.
5. Fics should be submitted with all appropriate html tags included.
6. Writers/readers/participants should be courteous at ALL times.
7. Writers/participants should remain anonymous until reveals are posted. Any questions or concerns for your author/recipient should be emailed to us so that we can contact your author/recipient.
8. Everyone should have fun! (excessive use of exclamation marks is totally optional, but highly encouraged.)

Pairings/friendships I want, no, NEED:
No particular order but I'd love to read either Junba (with Sakumiya as side-pairing PLEASE! Yes, kick me if you want lol) or Aimiya (maybe with Juntoshi side pairing?) as romantic pairings.
For friendship - of course, Aimiya as BFF always work for me <3 or Ohba drinking buddies. In general, Arashi-friendship is precious so please let them all be friends XD! I also like Aiba together with Kazama Shunsuke or Ikuta Toma or any other J-actor friend he has. ^^ (Since I'm a big J-dorama-fan, you will earn extra points for including J-actors, male or female, as friends/side characters, in general.)

Genres, situations, kinks, plots I would like to receive:
I prefer AU over non-AU stories.
As long as you write something that you enjoy, I'm fine with almost every genre or plot you might come up with. I like slice of life, humour (no crack though) or psychological stories as well as science fiction, fantasy (no high fantasy though, I prefer magical realism), supernatural (in a spooky or super-powery way), horror etc. but please add some romance and make friendship an important topic if fitting.
In general, I like stories that are smart, dramatic but maybe with some cute scenes (so they can be fluffy or angsty or preferably both!). I appreciate good storytelling and of course, a happy ending! (I LOVE some drama in a story but I NEED a happy ending!)
I don't really have special preferences when it comes to kinks as I'm not that kinky, I think... but I do love kisses and holding hands and hugs and tiny cute gestures, stuff like that.

In general I like Aiba being happy and energetic and the nice guy he always is, who puts his friends first and I like to see Jun and Nino as some kind of mysterious or "tsundere" characters (so maybe they have a secret and they are a bit cheeky and/or grumpy but still care about their friends) but as genuinely kind people.

As mentioned, if you go for Junba, I'd love you forever and a day if you add Nino as Aiba's BFF/colleague and Sakumiya as side pairing :3. In case of Aimiya, Juntoshi side pairing would be very much appreciated. (Of course, only if you have time and space for a side pairing, don't feel obliged, if it's not doable, please.)

If you add some sexy time, which I'd definitely appreciate if it fits the plot, then for Junba I don't mind who's top or bottom but for Aimiya please make sure Aiba is top and Nino bottom (is bottom!Nino considered as a kink? XD)

If you really have no idea yet, though, or you want a more detailed prompts, here you go:

Junba (Work AU/Romance):
I'd love a story about Aiba being a kindergarten or elementary school teacher who meets Jun (who's not good with kids for some reason) due to Jun's job (whatever it is, he has to collaborate with Aiba's working place for some reason, make him a photographer or a psychology student or whatever, be creative ^^). Even if there are starting problems between them due to their very different view on kids, the two gradually fall in love (and Jun learns to love kids too).

Aimiya (AU or Arashi universe is fine here):
Classic "from friends to lovers" stories will definitely work. I like them being childhood friends and developing a deeper affection for each other over time, so that the boundaries between friendship and love slowly but surely start to blur and it's up to one of them (Aiba preferably) to do the next step. If you want to spice it up a bit, I'd appreciate such a story in an uncommon setting (up to interpretation, maybe they are in outer space. Or let them work in some unconventional job, add magic or... whatever).
Or, since I also like nature setting, send them outdoors! For example: Aiba takes Nino somewhere for vacation (country side/woods/near the sea... maybe with no wi-fi? Hiking? Camping?) because he thinks Nino (who is depressed over something or overworked or simply gaming too much in his friend's opinion) needs a change of place. However, everything goes wrong (they get lost, their car breaks, power outage, batteries dies, they forgot important things etc.) and they fight but in the end they have to work together and just get even closer to each other (You can make Aiba cute and a bit clumsy here, but not stupid please! Extra points if you add the other Arashi members too to complete the chaos :D)

In any case, please keep it romantic in first place, even if I won't say no to a little smutty part as the cherry on top ;). However, please at least make them kiss ^.^

Genres, situations, kinks, plots I would NOT LIKE to receive:
No Sakuraiba or Ohba please (and no Matsumiya, Ohmiya or Sakumoto side pairing in case this is necessary to mention). No Aiba/female pairing (and no Nino/female or Sho/female side pairing in case this is necessary to mention; I'm fine with Jun/female or Ohno/female, though.)
As mentioned above, please no high fantasy (I love a fantasy touch to a story taking place in our world/time though), and in case you go for something supernatural/horror, please no zombies!
No main character death or lethal illnesses/injuries please! (Temporary illnesses/injuries are acceptable, mental/psychological issues even make a story more interesting imo, so if you want to include something like that, please go ahead.)
No OT3/OT5 in romantic or sexual way, ABO, PWP, too kinky stuff, threesomes, BDSM, m-preg, gender switch, rape, cheating, etc... if you're not sure about something, please ask the mods to confirm with me!
Please do not throw in random Japanese words or phrases if they are not necessary. (Of course, a kimono is a kimono and sushi is sushi, but I don't want to read Japanese phrases like "Hajimemashite" or "Sumimasen" or "Tadaima" etc. all the time, if there's a proper English equivalent, since it kills the reading flow for me). However, please use Japanese honorifics appropriately (and yes, please go ahead and use honorifics if you can, I like them and prefer them over "Mr." etc. since they have different nuances of meaning).
Please no stereotype nicknames like "miracle boy" for Aiba, "brat" for Nino or "diva" for Jun or stuff like that except it's ironic/humoristic use by one of the other characters, then it's totally fine.
Please do not portray Aiba as stupid (a bit clumsy is OK, I even find that cute). Or Nino as a superficial bratty type... because he's not! D: *ichiban protection mode*
If you go for smut, please don't make Nino top.

Pairings, genres, plots I would like to write:
I prefer writing AU over non-AU.
I am fine with writing Aimiya or Junba in romantic connections, I like writing Arashi friendship in general, I like adding people outside of Arashi (other Johnnies, J-actors etc.).
I think I can write every genre except historical, fantasy, crack, ABO...

Pairings, genres, plots I WILL NOT write:
I do not want to write Sakuraiba or Ohba.
In general, I don't want to write what I don't want to receive (please check above or ask).

I would like to receive at least PG-13, same goes for writing.
